Order & Pay

Order & Pay at the table — on your brand

The problem was table dwell time. Bills took too long to arrive, tables stayed occupied longer than needed, and floor teams were under constant pressure during peak service. One leading pan-Asian restaurant group deployed LineTen Order & Pay — starting with pay at table, built on their brand, not a generic payment screen — and now settles more than 50% of all bills that way across their estate.

Proven at scale

For one leading pan-Asian restaurant group, the challenge was table turnover. The gap between a guest finishing their meal and the table being cleared was driven largely by bill request, production, and settlement. LineTen deployed branded Order & Pay starting with pay at table: guests scan, review their bill, split if needed, tip, and pay — all in minutes, with no app download. Today, over 50% of bills across their estate are settled via pay at table.

Built for the full-service dining experience

Scan to order, pay, or both — no app required

Guests scan a QR code on their table and a fully branded web experience opens in their mobile browser. No app download, no account creation. Configure order at table, pay at table, or the full Order & Pay journey — freeing tables faster without friction in the guest journey.

Brand-first, not a generic payment terminal

Off-the-shelf payment solutions look like bank terminals, not your restaurant. LineTen Order & Pay is fully designed to your brand identity — delivering a premium guest experience at every stage, from browsing the menu to splitting the bill, that reinforces who you are.

Full menu, full ordering flexibility

With order at table enabled, guests can add courses and customise dishes throughout the meal. With pay at table, they settle when ready — all at once or in stages. The interface supports bill splitting by item or amount, partial payments, and configurable tipping, giving every guest at the table flexibility at the point of payment.

Frequently asked questions

How is Order & Pay different from Table Service App?

Order & Pay is customer-facing — guests scan, order, and pay on their own device via a branded web experience, with no app download required. Table Service App is staff-facing — your floor team manages tables, takes orders, and settles bills, including on portable card terminals (PEDs) when guests do not pay by QR. Both can share pay-by-QR on the same table, but only Order & Pay is designed for guest self-service; table service does not require QR payment.

Do guests need to download an app to use Order & Pay?

No. Order & Pay is a branded web experience — guests scan a QR code on their table and it opens in their mobile browser. No app store download and no account creation. Table Service App, the staff web app on floor devices, is separate and is not installed by guests.

Can the system handle bill splitting between multiple guests?

Yes. LineTen supports bill splitting by individual item, by equal division between the number of guests at the table, or by a custom amount. Each guest pays their portion independently via their own device, and the system tracks the outstanding balance in real time.

How does tipping work within Order & Pay?

LineTen includes configurable tipping prompts at the payment stage. Tip suggestions can be set as fixed percentage options or as a custom amount entry. The tip allocation model — to individual staff, to a shared pool, or to the business — is configured by the operator in the management console.

Does the system integrate with our existing POS?

Yes. LineTen Order & Pay integrates with major hospitality POS systems. Orders and payments sync in real time, so your existing kitchen management, end-of-day reconciliation, and reporting processes continue to function without modification.

Can guests order additional courses mid-meal, or is it payment-only?

Both — and you choose the mode. Order at table lets guests browse the menu and add items or courses at any point during the meal. Pay at table lets them settle the bill when they are ready. Deploy either capability independently, or combine them in a single Order & Pay journey from the same interface.
